New Car Preparation

A New Car Preparation is necessary for a new car as it is very rare for a new car to arrive in immaculate condition. Often they can be ex demo cars, or cleaned and left on the forecourt for weeks before delivery. Dealerships do not have time to correctly prepare cars, often with poorly trained staff and lacking the correct equipment. Where it may have been washed incorrectly with bad techniques, there may be fine scratches, paint contamination, overspray, swirls or holograms. There are often traces of adhesives where plastic sheeting has been removed that was used to protect the car during transit. We will rectify this so your car is in truly mint condition.

When performing a New Car Preparation, we will be using a fine clay bar and fine machine polishing compounds. We aim to bring the shine, gloss and smoothness to the paintwork by removing light swirls and light scratches to your new car. We will check and clean the interior, windows and door shuts, if needed.

Please note, let the dealer prepare the car first before delivering the vehicle to us, we will remove any washing scratches they may have put in. It is easier to inspect a clean car than one that is unprepared. Whilst at the dealership, take your time to inspect the car for minor scratches, dents, stone chips and make them aware. When the car arrives we will inspect it with you again.
